Tips for Creators
Tips give viewers a direct way to support an eligible creator with Points. The exchange stays connected to the content and creator that inspired it.
Sending a tip is always deliberate: the sender chooses an amount and confirms the creator, while the recipient finds the credited activity in the Creator Dashboard. Opening or reacting to content never sends a tip by itself.
Send a tip
- Open content from another creator that offers Tips.
- Select the creator-support or tip action.
- Choose one of the Points options shown in FOCUS.
- Review the creator and amount, then confirm.
Before confirming, make sure you opened the intended creator's content and that the Points amount matches your choice. Choose from the options in FOCUS rather than relying on an amount described elsewhere.
You need enough Points for the selected tip, and you cannot send a tip to your own account. After confirmation, read the completion message before leaving the content. If the action does not finish, look at your balance and status before trying again.
Receive tips
Eligible tip activity is credited automatically. From your creator profile, select Credited to open the Creator Dashboard. The Tips category and recent chart show activity already added to your creator record and Points balance.
The creator share from a tip can reach up to 95% under current eligible rules. The applicable share depends on the Points option and conditions in FOCUS, so the amount sent and the amount credited to the creator should not be assumed to be identical.
No separate manual claim is required. The Dashboard explains the source of creator credits, while the Points balance remains the account-level balance. A message or reaction from a viewer is not proof that a tip was completed.
Resolve a tip issue
Confirm that Tips are offered for the content and both accounts, then compare the selected creator, amount, confirmation, and Points balance. The sender should inspect the action and balance; the creator should also look in the Tips category of the Creator Dashboard.
If the issue continues, use Help & Feedback with the content, approximate time, and notice you received. Do not share the other person's private account details or send another tip merely to test the first one.
