Creator Guidelines
Create original, useful content and present it with the same care that went into making it. People should understand what they will find before they open a post.
These guidelines apply throughout publishing: selecting media, describing the post, choosing a Topic, setting access or promotion options, and managing the finished work. They complement the Community Guidelines by focusing on the choices a creator makes around content and presentation.
Publish original and accurate content
- Share content you created or have permission to use.
- Use accurate titles, covers, descriptions, and Topic selections.
- Keep promotional claims clear and realistic.
- Use the publishing fields provided by FOCUS for links, contact details, Premium access, or Offers.
Preview the post when that option is available and compare the cover, title, description, and Topic with the actual content. A viewer should not need to open a post to discover that its subject, access condition, or promoted action is materially different from what was presented.
Respect people and privacy
Follow the Community Guidelines across posts, comments, profiles, Circles, and Topics. Keep credentials, recipient information, government identifiers, private contact details, and another person's personal information out of public content.
Permission to use media does not remove the need to protect the people shown in it. Review backgrounds, captions, attachments, and contact fields for information that was not intended to be public. Use the reporting and review paths when safety concerns arise instead of redistributing the material.
Use promotion responsibly
Share content where it is relevant and welcome. Avoid repetitive or misleading promotion, and do not imply that opening a post guarantees a reward or feature.
When FOCUS provides a dedicated field for a link, contact method, Premium setting, or Offer, use that field so the action and any Points information remain visible before confirmation. Do not hide important access conditions inside unrelated text or pressure people to participate in an activity.
If content is reviewed
FOCUS may limit content or related features when the content does not meet current guidelines. Review the affected post, Topic, and message before changing or republishing the same material. The message helps identify whether the issue concerns the content, its presentation, access settings, or another current requirement.
If you believe a decision was applied incorrectly, use Help & Feedback with the affected post or Topic, approximate time, message shown, and relevant context. Include only evidence you have permission to share, then wait for the review rather than creating duplicate versions of the affected content.
